What is the Adult Learning Service?
The Adult Learning Service provides tuition for adults who wish to return to learning in a supportive environment. The service is free and confidential. Classes are designed to meet the needs of each learner. Day and evening classes are available.

Adults who wish to improve their basic literacy, numeracy and personal development skills.
What does this service offer?
The Adult Learning Service offers one-to-one and group tuition to learners who wish to improve their basic skills. Examples of programmes offered include:
- Reading, Writing and Maths
- Creative Writing
- Personal Development
- Junior Certificate: English and Maths
- FETAC Levels 3 and 4: Communications, Preparation for Work, Personal Effectiveness, Computers and Living in a Diverse Society
- Leaving Certificate: Ordinary level English, Foundation level Maths
- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
- Volunteer Literacy Tutor Training
