What is Youthreach?
Youthreach is a programme that seeks to provide early school leavers with the knowledge, skills and confidence which will enable them to progress to further education, training and employment within a supportive setting.
Who is Youthreach for?
Youthreach is for young people aged 16-20 years who left school early with little or no qualifications.
What programmes does this service offer?
Youthreach offers FETAC Levels 3 and 4 qualifications, and Leaving Certificate Applied. Examples of programmes offered include:
- Art
- Childcare
- Communications
- Computer Literacy
- Consumer Awareness
- Engineering Workshop Processes
- Food and Nutrition/Cookery
- French
- Maths
- Social Education
- Vocational Preparation and Guidance
- Woodcraft
